2010 APRILIA RSV4 R BUDGET SUPERBIKE vs FACTORY

2010 APRILIA RSV4 R BUDGET SUPERBIKE vs FACTORY
Mr Biaggi agrees The 2010 RSV4 R makes do with cheaper components and less adjustability, but is as powerful and looks just as cool as the more expensive Factory version. Even the parts being down grade version, RSV4 R still got a kick to compare others superbikes. with clean , cool shape and simple decal design will attract riders to test this affordable .

2010 APRILIA RSV4 R BUDGET SUPERBIKE vs FACTORY

have announced the 2010 RSV4 R, a of the RSV4 Factory. Instead of Ohlins suspension, the RSV4 R gets a Showa fork and , its 60-degree makes do with aluminium parts instead of the Factory’s magnesium bits, and the isn’t adjustable for swingarm pivot point, steering head angle and engine position.

2010 APRILIA RSV4 R BUDGET SUPERBIKE vs FACTORY5
what differences between RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R?

Still, the significantly cheaper RSV4 R’s Showa/Sachs suspension is fully adjustable and the engine still produces 180bhp (though we suspect it may not be able to rev as high and/or as quickly as the RSV4 Factory’s engine). Also, with its ride-by-wire electronics, the bike still has three ride modes – Race, Sport and Road – for optimised power delivery for whatever conditions you might encounter.

If you can live with plastic instead of carbonfibre trim, aluminium instead of forged magnesium wheels and a bit more weight (the R weighs 184kg, about five kilos more than the Factory), the RSV4 R just might be the for you with at least 20% less expensive than the Factory

2010 APRILIA RSV4 R vs FACTORY

The RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R follow in the mold of the RSV 1000 R range; the Factory is the range-topping carbon, magnesium and Ohlins-equipped model sold in order to homologate the SBK racers, while the R is fitted with more realistic components and priced to sell in large numbers.

While the R retains the Factory’s basic frame and engine, both of those are modified to lower costs. The R’s engine ditches the expensive and lightweight magnesium engine covers in favor of aluminum items, while the has lost its ability to adjust the swingarm pivot point, the steering head angle and the engine’s position.

Still present is the fly-by-wire throttle and its three switchable power delivery modes. “Race” offers the full 180bhp and 115lb/ft of torque, “Sport” delivers full power but limits torque in the first three gears and “Road” reduces power to 140bhp and also limits torque throughout the rev range and in all gears.

you can choose between black or white on the plastic panels. The cohesive finishes of the R — mostly silver or black mechanical components — actually look better than the confused look created by the magnesium and gold parts and red/black paint on the Factory.

RSV4 R Price
The biggest goal that pursued with this new approach towards the RSV concept was to be able to offer the bike for under $20K and the $19,600 MSRP says mission accomplished.

The RSV4 R has been priced at £12,449 in the UK, £2,550 cheaper than the bells-and-whistles RSV4 Factory. No price for either bike has yet to be announced for the New World. Should you save some money and go for the cheaper model? This photo will help you decide, it highlights the changes. Full specs below.

The bike is expected to cost about £11,800-12,400 in the UK, which would be around 20-24% cheaper than the higher-spec Factory version.

Fun! Aprilia RSV 4 Entrance Indonesia

(Special)

INILAH.COM, Jakarta - For those of you true fans of motor racing, get ready because 1.000cc Aprilia RSV4 motorcycle into Indonesia in July next.

"We will bring Aprilia RSV4 this July. They cost hundreds of millions of rupiah because it has a cc motorcycle major," said Nugroho Tjandrakusuma SKN Predir Page on the sidelines of launch of Aprilia RS Aprilia Scarabeo 125 and Thursday (two quarters) at the Sentul Circuit, Bogor, West Java.

RSV4 carrying the four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 999 cc with a speed according to the standard version of the racing world. Aprilia claims the motor sports technology is more sophisticated than the two-wheeler class. Both for racing and the type of the replicas.

Moreover, using the nameplate sits approximately 65 degrees, multi-mapping, technology, ride-by-Wire to energize a versatile choice. To improve performance, the motor is intentionally built with a short wheelbase with a long swingarm.

V-4 this time also made longer to increase the ability to breathe on the engine. Supported also by the use of high-quality materials, so it can work in extreme conditions, such as high heat. To mengefisiensi engine combustion system, the technicians complete the machine with a device Aprilia Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to date.

Understandably, a lot of articles in the motor-awaited 1000 cc motorcycle enthusiasts in Europe was ridden by veteran racer Max Biaggi in WSBK this year. Even for systems also apply pengeremannya Brembo mono block and aluminum wheels. Other more value on this motor is installed next three lamps so that it can be used dilintasan racing and ordinary road. [O1]

Test Ride – Aprilia RS250…!!!

Talk MotoGP Aprilia RS250 ... remembering that until now was still victorious in the MotoGP Aprilia 250cc class .. And by coincidence (it has a soul mate), Aprilia replica version has become the first motor ... i (kok first motor racing circuit ... .. why not a small motorcycle). :)

Aprilia RS250 uses two stroke engine, 249cc, 90 degree V-Twin, liquid cooled. Powernya can reach 78HP. Talk about this RS250 drink, kudu minimum Pertama
x Plus or Shell Super Extra (which got RON 95). That makes him groggy brake fluid is a kudu Dot 5.1 (brake fluid is very rare there, except in Toda Racing). In addition to brake fluid, there's more that makes groggy namely the kudu had Gearbox Oil 75w-90 viscosity. :)

To turn a simple RS250 engine, key in the on position, hold the switch engine is turned on, and kick starter genjot .. direct flame. RS250 only have a kick starter and electric starter is not got. Therefore, the battery was cheap .. 4A disposable. Differences with a Cagiva Mito for example the need for using electric starter 9A. Although using a kick starter, kick starter RS250 very lightly, so entenya using a single hand can. Even more severe kick starter FU150 (maybe if his appeal in a lightweight 30% of his kick starter Fu150 ... imagine a light?).

After the engine flame, temperatures will begin to move from cold to 37 degrees centigrade berbah onwards. I usually wait until 50 degrees celcius new bike ready to use. RS250 has a sixth gear acceleration (deh with the exact same Fu150 ngebayanginnya ... .. let's easy). If the side stand down (indicator lit), then if the first tooth is inserted, automatic machine will die. This is related to safety reason (if not ya lah ... very dangerous).

After the side stand is raised (inactive), and the teeth first entered the throttle ready dibejek. But, be careful if membetot throttle .. I never take it Fu150 Abiz, direct RS250 throttle play betot Gaza .. consequently the motor willie .. (Tuh lift front wheels). Have a steady acceleration, gear one could reach 40 km / h, while second gear can reach 100 km / h. RS250 .. How about stability? Do not ask bro .. 100 km / h is very stable .. as we take a duck second gear speed 30 km / h. 3 teeth and so forth how? Teeth three ever make, but never mbejelk polls .. because the road near the Semanggi Sudirman already Abiz ..

Talk about handling .. well as other sportz bike .. Kudu nikung fall if you want high speed, or kudu search if you want to turn the bow ... If the road tonight, must get used to the lights that adherents to the fairing .. so when the lights turn ... not highlight to the road ..

My only complaint is that when riding RS250 in a state of stress going bad ... .. lho kok could .. ? Yes, because it must at all times Seeing temperature. Based on the experience of each stopped 25-30 seconds, the temperatures will rise 1 degree Celsius. Normal temperature ranges when the road 70-80 degrees centigrade. When it reaches 100 degrees Celsius, getting ready for Geber nyari nih empty road bike but with lower RPM .. can with the gear 3 RPM 5000's. In addition .. if traffic jams .. gonna get ready for tired hands and feet also jagain tuh kudu motor ... (well who ordered the motor ... street circuit on the public road Lage .. too bad ....)

TSS RS500 2 Cylinder 2 Stroke

TSS RS500 2 cylinder 2 stroke

TSS RS500 2 cylinder 2 stroke engineWhile most everyone else has moved on to the land of 4 strokes, there’s a group of intrepid engineers and builders in Australia devoted to the idea of building a 500cc 2 cylinder 2 stroke motorcycle, starting with the Aprilia RS250 chassis and installing their own highly engineered 2 stroke powerplant.

Grand Prix Engineer Wayne “Wobbly” Wright who has a 30 year career building GP engines and pipes went to work on the engine and the finished piece puts out 112 horsepower and 60 foot pounds of torque. Mounted in a bike weighing 286 pounds total and having the power delivery you would expect from a 2 stroke gives you a bike that one might call entertaining.

The idea here is to bring 2 stroke technology up to the best that can be built right now and place it in a modern frame and suspension package, a combination you can’t buy in your neighborhood showroom.

The company the group formed is called the Two Stroke Shop, and besides many other parts for the 2 stroke fanatic, they offer not only complete RS 500 motorcycles but also the engines alone or kits to adapt your own RS250 to accept their engine.

There are no prices on the site, expensive I’m sure, but what they offer seems somewhat unique. It’s an extremely interesting setup and just the thing to surprise the heck out of your average GSX-R pilot. I like it.

Ready to enliven Aprilia Motor Indonesia Market

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - market competition kind of motorcycle sport gathering popularity. Participants not only dominated the Japanese (Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, and Kawasaki), which encircle India (Bajaj XCD 125). However, starting April future, present new arrivals from Italy, Aprilia. Manufacturer, this will bring the two types at once. "We will bring Sport Aprilia RS 125 cc and 1000 cc Superbike RSV," said Creative Director of PT Sentra Niaga (SKN) Tjandrakusuma Nugroho, Monday (16 / 3) in Jakarta.

At the initial stage, according to Nugroho, his side will include about 5 units and the 125 cc Superbike, and so in May increased 10 units (125 cc). SKN also receive the order. However, about 3 months time.

Simply a matter of price mengernyitkan forehead. Aprilia 125 cc valued around Rp 90 million, while its MOGE around Rp 600 million. To ensure satisfaction of the owner, SKN ensure maintenance and spare parts inventory, including technical data, then, if there is a problem, consumers can visit showroom.

Motorsport market in the country is very small. Of the total national market, only this type of grab share of about 1 percent, while sales in 2008 reached 6.2 million units. As for the type of MOGE under it and still be the general importer. No competition in the market class MOGE.

Aprilia RS125 - schoolboy dream machine

Aprilia
SCHOOLBOY SUPERBIKE: The Aprilia RS125 has been Europe's best-selling 125cc sport bike for several years - it's not hard to see why.

Aprilia RS125 - schoolboy dream machine

March 28, 2006

Aprilia's RS125 lightweight sports bike has been completely revised for 2006 using technology from the company's successful 125cc GP machines and re-styled, after extensive wind-tunnel research, to emphasise its family resemblance to Aprilia's RSV1000 Factory litre-class sport flagship, with twin halogen headlights.

Self Drive Canada have become increasingly popular over the last few years

It will be available in South Africa at the end of April, at about R40 000.

The 2006 model has new 40mm inverted front forks with an RSV Factory-style forged lower triple, and a 320mm, fully floating, front disc brake with a four-piston radial mount calliper.

A radial master cylinder modulates deceleration via braided stainless-steel brake hoses.

It has an oval-section, racing silencer with riveted end plates and a catalytic converter so that it complies with Euro 2 emissions regulations.

The cast-alloy wheels are styled to resemble the crossed-spoke, forged magnesium OZ rims used on the RSV1000 Factory and anodised the same bright blue.

The RS125 also comes with a new analog/digital instrument panel from the RSV1000 with a multi-function display that includes speedometer, coolant temperature gauge and lap timer – there's even provisional for trackside optical telemetry.

The frame is made of cast aluminium alloy with cross-ribbing reinforcement and the box-section, aluminium alloy swing-arm is asymmetrical to allow the exhaust to be tucked as close as possible to the chassis, to increase ground clearance.

The 2006 RS125 will be available in either classic black with red accents or pearl white as per Manuel Poggiali's works Grand Prix machine, with black and red highlights.

Race kit

A non-street legal race kit will be available, including:

  • Expansion chamber racing exhaust
  • Racing exhaust valve (power valve) with special control unit and solenoid
  • Replacement carburettor needle, main jet and atomiser.
  • Racing spark plug

RSV4

APRILIA UNVEIL THIER ALL NEW V4 SUPERBIKE

APRILIA RSV4: A REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN PROJECT HAS LED TO A TRULY UNIQUE MOTORCYCLE AND APRILIA’S RETURN TO THE SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

With 31 world championship titles, 250 MotoGP wins and 8 Superbike victories in the last sixteen years, Aprilia is a legend in modern motorcycling. Aprilia motorcycles have dominated circuits all over the world thanks to unconventional technical solutions, experimentation and innovation and, sometimes, by revolutionising technology thought to be unchangeable.
With this unique sporting heritage behind them, Aprilia is proud to present the RSV4, the bike with which Aprilia will return to the Superbike World Championship in 2009. This extraordinary machine has been conceived, designed and developed entirely by Aprilia Racing for competition use.

The RSV4 will make its debut in the 2009 Superbike World Championship. With four cylinders, 999 cc and top of the class power in the race-ready version, this revolutionary machine is packed with innovative design and manufacturing solutions of the sort we have come to expect from Aprilia. A V-four engine with total electronic management, and an exceptionally light and compact chassis are just some of the features that make this bike unique in the world of motorcycling. The revolutionary design of the Aprilia RSV4 comes directly from Europe’s biggest and most successful racing team.

The road-going version of the RSV4 also benefits from the extraordinary technical know-how that Aprilia Racing has accumulated over two decades of success in MotoGP, and is packed with advanced solutions from GP racing. In short, the RSV4 stands alone as a exclusive, genuine, and in many ways unique racing replica.

The Aprilia RSV4 is powered by the most revolutionary and most powerful engine ever developed by Aprilia. This 65° V four unit is based on an architecture that is unique in the world of supersport motorcycles, and features refined engineering combined with prestigious materials and advanced electronic management solutions. The new engine uses multi-mapping ride-by-wire technology, a solution that opens up new horizons in engine control, and offers virtually infinite opportunities for power delivery and traction control (present as standard on the racing version).

The choice of a narrow V layout has led to the development of an incredibly narrow engine. This in turn has permitted weight to be centralised and chassis performance dramatically improved (thanks to a short wheelbase and long swingarm). The narrow V-four configuration permits a longer stroke to be used, with clear benefits in terms of improved engine breathing. High engine speeds can therefore be reached without having to extend the width of the crankcase. This is fundamentally important to aerodynamics and manoeuvrability (two characteristics for which Aprilia motorcycles have always been universally acclaimed).

The monobloc cylinder block features integrated liners for maximum rigidity and consistent efficiency. The air intake trumpets are variable in length. Each bank of cylinders has a servomotor dedicated exclusively to the operation of their two throttle bodies. The aperture of the four butterfly valves, and therefore the volume of air inducted, can therefore be controlled independently. This solution opens up new horizons in electronic engine and power management, resulting in truly advanced integral traction control. A cassette type gearbox and a slipper clutch demonstrate the racing character of this engine.

The Aprilia RSV4 has been designed and developed with competition in mind, and naturally offers all the adjustments normally found on racing machines. In particular, this most powerful Aprilia ever made stands out for its complete range of chassis adjustments. The variable geometry frame not only allows you to change parameters like headstock angle (thanks to interchangeable steering bushings), but even lets you adjust swingarm and engine position. Racing technology has been used for all aspects of construction. The RSV4’s aluminium frame and swingarm are constructed from a clever mix of thick-walled parts and variable section sheet.

All components are naturally of the highest calibre. They include an Öhlins fork, rear monoshock and steering damper, Brembo monobloc brake calipers and forged aluminium wheels.

The styling of the Aprilia RSV4 has followed the same approach as the rest of the design. The RSV4’s racing character is clear from every component, and from the absence of solutions chosen only for appearances. As a result the overall design of the RSV4 and the advanced technology of its component parts merge into a uniquely harmonious whole that is superbly functional on the racetrack – the natural habitat of this latest Aprilia. The fairing has been developed in the wind tunnel. Minimal in size, it in no way detracts from the stunning technology of the engine. The frame/engine system is fully visible and bulges like muscles beyond the fairing.

The triple headlight cluster makes the RSV4 instantly recognisable and unique from the very first glance.
The superbly lightweight tail slopes upwards to emphasise the dynamic nature of the Aprilia RSV4. Even when stationary, the bike simply exudes a desire for speed and competition.
